WITNEY
DOUBLE WEDDING. An event of exceptional interest took place at Hailey Church at noon on Tuesday, when the Misses Marion Annie and Lilian Hilda, daughters of Mr and Mrs John Buckingham, of Highcroft Farm, were married - Miss Marion to Mr Arthur Richardson, son of Mr and Mrs F. Richardson, of High Street, Witney, and Miss Lilian Hilda to Mr Charles Goodearl, son of Mr Benjamin Goodearl, of Moetyn House, High Wycombe. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. F. Corden Nash (Vicar of Hailey), and the organist (Mr A. Davis), played the Bridal March from "Lohengrin" as the wedding party entered the Church, and Guilmant's Wedding March as the newly-married people repaired to the Vestry. The brides, who were given away by their father, wore cream costumes, with brown picture hats trimmed with ostrich feathers. They carried handsome shower bouquets composed of lilies of the valley, roses, and carnations, and asparagus fern. Miss Marion's bridesmaids were Miss Kate Buckingham (her sister), and Miss Marie Richardson (niece of the bridegroom); whilst Miss Lilian was att ended by Miss Ethel Cautwell (of Witney) and Miss Doris Buckingham (sister). They wore pale pink Empire dresses trimmed with lace, and white lace hats, and had sprays of lilies, carnations, and fern. Mr F. C. Buckingham was best man for Mr Richardson, and Mr Percy Wiggins for Mr Goodearl. After the ceremony a reception was held at Highcroft, and in the afternoon Mr and Mrs Richardson left for Worcester, and Mr and Mrs Goodearl for Brighton. The wedding presents were valuable and numerous,
