MARRIAGE OF MISS EGGLETON.
At St. Matthias Church, Richmond, on Thursday was solemnised the marriage of Miss Olive Annie Eggleton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Eggleton of Richmond, and Mr. Albert Edward Gill, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Gill, of Eastbourne. The Rev. G. J. Larwill, B.A., officiated, and the service was a choral one, Mr. A. P. Porter, Mus. Bac., F.R.C.O., being at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white satin marocain, trimmed with pearls, court train of chiffon velvet, lined with pink chiffon, trimmed with pearl ornaments; and a horseshoe of orange blossom and white heather. The bridesmaids were Miss Margaret Eggleton (sister of the bride), Miss Kathleen Gill (sister of the bridegroom), Miss Violet Clarke (cousin of the bride), Miss Marjorie Sunley and Miss Carol Cockayne, and Master Michael Dudley was page. The bridesmaids wore gowns of pink georgette, embroidered in shaded pink and blue, with hats of pink taffeta and lace, with roses and blue ribbons. Mr. Jack Clarke, of East- bourne, was the best man. The reception was held at the Castle Hotel, Richmond, and later in the day the newly-married-pair left for Italy. For travelling, the bride wore a sand coloured costume with rose pink hat and scarf.
