        BRIGADIER WOUNDED.
        Brigadier-General Douglas Edward Cayley, C.M.G., who has been wounded, is a son of the late Deputy Surgeon-General Henry Cayley, C.M.G. Born in 1870, and educated at Clifton College, he, in 1890, got his first commission in the Worcestershire Regiment, became lieutenant-colonel in March, 1914, and brevet colonel in January of this year. For his services in the South African campaign he has the Queen's medal with three clasps and the King's with two. He has also done valuable work in the present war, and at the Dardanelles he had command of an infantry battalion, with the rank of brigadier-general. He was mentioned in dispatches, and received the C.M.G. in 1917.
