EAST WOODHAY.
A MARRIAGE took place at St. Martin's Church on Saturday, 27th ult., between Mr. Walter J. Rosier and Mrs. R. Sheerman. The bride was attired in light grey, and was given away by Mr. W. Preston. She was attended by her daughter, Miss F. M. Sheerman, and her cousin, Miss E. M. Adey, who were attired in blue and white, with hats to match. Mr. F. Honkins acted as best man. The service was fully choral, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. H. Chilton Tompkins (rector). The hymns sung were "How welcome was the cali and "Lead us, Heavenly Father. Lead us." After the ceremony the Rector delivered an address to the newly married couple. Mr. A. George was at the organ and played appropriate selections of music, concluding with Mendelssohn's Wedding March." A reception was subsequently held at East End. The bridal pair were the recipients of numerous and useful presents, including one from Lady Carden of Stargrove.
