        FIFTY years ago this week Mr. and Mrs. S. Leigh (above), of 39 Lodge Road, Tonbridge, were married at Tonbridge Parish Church. They are celebrating their golden wedding with a dinner party at the Carpenter's Arms, Tudeley tomorrow (Saturday).
        Mr. Sidney Leigh and his wife Anne have lived in Ton- bridge all their lives. Both attended Slade School, but did not meet until Mr. Leigh came out of the Army after the 1914-18 war. He was in the Royal West Kent Regiment.
        Before his retirement, Mr. Leigh was a moulder at Crystalate. Mrs. Leigh has been a housewife all her married life and brought up one son and three daughters.
        The vicar at the time of Mr. and Mrs. Leigh's marriage was the Rev. Hutchinson. Mr. and Mrs. Leigh have lived in Lodge Road all their married lives. Mrs. Leigh is a member of the TOPS club and Mr. Leigh's hobby is gardening.
