Wedding of Miss SPUFFARD
On Saturday last at Harmondsworth Parish Church, Miss Caroline Lydia SPUFFARD, daughter of Mr & Mrs C SPUFFARD of Grape Vine Cottage Harmondsworth was married to Mr Clement BASS, youngest son of Mr & Mrs J W BASS of Chinnor, Bucks. The Rev. John C TAYLOR M.A. officated.
The bride was given away by her brother in law Mr G H TAYLOR, was attiredin cream viola with a white hat trimmed with tulle and orange blossom.
She was attended by Miss L JONES and Mr G TAYLOR acted as best man. Areception was subsquently held at Grape Vine Cottage and the guests includedMr & Mrs C SPUFFARD, Mr & Mrs G H TAYLOR, Miss L JONES, Mr W SPUFFARD, Mr A BOSSON, Mrs G GUMM and Mr HUSSEY. Mr & Mrs BASS will live at Harrow on the Hill.
The presents included the following:- Brides mother, wedding cake, Mr & Mrs G H TAYLOR cups and saucers, Mr & Mrs A McCANN table linen and biscuit barrel; Mr W SPUFFARD set of jugs; Mr J SPUFFARD pair vases; Mr & Mrs J BASS cutlery; Mr J NEAL table glass and pair of vases; Mrs G CALEY cut glass sugar basin and jug; Mrs LAWRENCE cake stand; Miss A BIRD flower vase; Mrs S BIRD teapot; Mrs W BARNES glass jugs; Mrs SEARLEY pin cussion and pepper box; Miss E E NICHOLS tea service; Mrs R J NICHOLS cake stand; Mrs F GREEN tumblers; a friend tumblers; Mrs A WATMORE cups and saucers; Mrs W FLORY centre vase; Mr & Mrs W BASS armchair.
