        Fulham Chronicle 28 May 1909
        A Fulham Road collision. George Samuel LANGFORD, of 2 New Street, St John's Wood, was summoned for driving a motor-cab negligently at Fulham Road, Fulham about midnight on March 20th - it was alleged that as John HALSEY, of 18 Lintainegrove Fulham, was driving a four wheeled cab across Fulham Road to go into Argon Mews the defendant's moto cab dashed into it broadside and swerved it right round. The moor cab, it was alleged was going at from 15 to 20 miles an hour. - PC HEDGES 607B stated that the defendant told him he was going at from 10 to 12 miles an hour when the four wheeler was driven across the road in front of him. - The defendant said that he was taken by surprise by the cabman turning suddenly across the road. He shouted and applied his brakes, but his cab just struck the four wheeler. - The magistrate mposed a fine of 20s. and 23s costs,
