        WOOBURN.
We have to record, with much regret, the death of Mr. Henry Goodearl, who passed away at his residence, Earlsgrove, Wooburn Green, at the age of 76 years. He was a native of Lane End, from which village the family removed in 1870, and started a business as chair manufacturers in Dovecot Meadows, High Wycombe, under the style of Wm. Goodearl & Sons. In 1898 the deceased gentleman retired from active association with the business, which is now conducted by his two sons. During his long residence in Wycombe, he took a keen interest in the work of public bodies. For some years he represented the West Central Ward on the Town Council; and he was also a member of the old Wycombe Borough School Board. For some years he was superintendent of Wesley Sunday School, and in later years he became conductor of the choir.
