"Percy Edward YOUNG was born at Frogmore Cottages, Little Milton & baptised in the church on 29th September 1889. He disappeared from his home at Kingsworthy Hants. on Dec 26th 1973. His body, with a gun with which he had taken his life, was found in a spinney at Frogmore on March 26th. He is said to have expressed a wish to be buried at Little Milton" In the cover of the register are a Coroners Certificate for burial & two cuttings: one is labelled 'Evening News Mar27 1974' the other is unidentified, but may be the Oxford Times. Mr Young is said to have had a row with his wife & left home on Boxing Day. Where the body was found, a length of string had been wrapped round a tree & tied to a shotgun trigger.
