On Tuesday week an accident happened to a young woman named Ellen Perrin, daughter of Mr. George Perrin, shoemaker, of this town. whereby her arm was broken. It appears that on the day named, a cow. the property of Mr. Alfred Palmer, cattle. Dealer, leading, who had purchased it of Mr. R. Hill, of this town, ran into the passage of the house up to the back door, when the young woman, in order to turn the cow out got through the window into the yard, and opened the door. She had no sooner done so than the animal rushed at her, and in the hurry of getting through the window back into the house, she fell upon her arm, causing it to break. Henry Reynolds, Esq, surgeon, set the broken limb, and she is now going on very favourably.
