SUDDEN DEATH AT BLEDLOW. - On Monday, the 13th inst., a very sudden death took place, at Bledlow. Mr Harding, carpenter, who lived at Crowell, and had been labouring under indisposition for some time previously, felt himself so much recovered as to be able to go to his work, at Bledlow, on this day. He wrought his business throughout the day up till the evening, when he fell down quite ill; he was assisted to get up, and taken to a house quite near; but never recovered, and died in the same place, between five and six in the evening. The deceased had been for many years a deacon of the independent Chapel at Chinnor, and also superintendent of the Sunday-school at Kingston Blount for many years. He was a man much respected by the members of his own church, for his Christian character and conduct. The news of his very sudden death was brought to Chinnor on Monday evening, and made known to the members of the Congregational body when assembled at their weekly prayer meeting. It created quite a sensation amongst them, respecting the instability of human life, and the "fleeting shadows which men are." His remains were followed to the grave by a large number of friends, and members of his own religious body, the Independents, who will feel his loss very much, both as deacon and Sunday-school superintendent.
