Three West Ealing lads, Arthur BENNETT, of 34 Westfield Road, Harry DAY of 15 Milford Road and Claude BRAZELL of Myrtle Villa, Chapel Road were sumoned at Ealing Police Court on Tuesday for playing football in Brisbane Road. Bennett and Brazell were fined 5s each and Day 3s.

Mr C BRAZELL, aged 24, a painter of West Ealing, plunged into the Thames at Strand - on - the - Green, Chiswick, yesterday and saved the life of a seven year old boy named LOVELL, who had fallen in the water.
After his plucky act BRAZELL changed into dry clothes and continued work.Note:- some other papers report same incident but name him as Charles
