        THAME.
At the Ashedon petty session, William Birdsey and Henry Allnutt, lads of Towerey, were charged by Mr. Bowden, constable, with having disturbed a Baptist congregation. Complainant deposed that on the day in question the defendants, who had been several times previously cautioned, were making a great disturbance near the chapel, and prevented the congregation from :hearing the preacher. Mr. Chetwode informed the boys that they were liable to be sent to the quarter ses- sion, and that the offence was a serious one.
