        Alfred WITNEY, Stokenchurch, timber dealer, as summoned by Mr. J H GOODSON, Britwell Prior, highway surveyor, for laying a quantity of timber on a certain highway in the parish of Stokenchurch, to the danger of persons travelling thereon, on Feb 25th - Fined 1s, and costs 9s 6d.

        UNJUST WEIGHTS
        Thomas Towerton & Henry Towerton, of Stokenchurch, (executors of the late Alfred Witney), were summoned for having in their possession for trade four weights which were unjust, on the 12th of June, 1893.
        T. Towerton appeared and pleaded guilty.
        R. Dixon Doubleday, Inspector of Weights and Measures of Oxford, proved the case.
        Fined 8s and costs 6s paid.
