        DEATH OF MRS. P. R. GOODEARL.
        The deepest sympathy will be extended to Mr. P. E. Goodearl, of 1, Gladys-villa, Benjamin- road, High Wycombe, in the extremely sad bereavement which he Las sustained by the death of his wife, at the early age of 28 years, on Thursday morning last. Mrs. Goodearl had been seriously ill for some weeks, and passed away shortly after nine o'clock, the cause of death being pleurisy and pneumonia. She leaves a husband and a son only 18 months old. The deceased lady was the only daughter of Mr. W. T. Drage, of Bozeat, Northants, and was a member of the teaching staff of the Desborough-road schools, and also of the Wesley Guild. On the occasion of her marriage to Mr. Goodearl on July 18th, 1910, Mrs. Goodearl was the recipient of presents from the teaching staff and her school class. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon, and was attended by marked signs of sorrow and respect At Wesley Chapel, where the Rev. E. Marshall read the first portion of the Burial Service, and at the Cemetery there were many sympathisers. The coffin was of polished oak, with brass furniture, and bore the inscription: Annie Margaret Goodearl, diel 27th Feb., 1913, aged 28 years." The mourners included Mr. P. R. Goodearl (husband), Mr. and Mrs. Richard Goodearl (Marlow), Mr. Albert Goodearl, Mrs. Dean (Navan, Ireland). Mr. W. C. Drage (father). and Mr. Drage, jun. (brother), Mr. J. Goodearl, and others. Some beautiful floral tributes were placed on the grave, including wreaths from the husband, Mr. Albert Goodearl, Mr. W. C. Drage, Mr. R. Goodearl, Dr. W. B. Bannerman, Mr. and Mrs. H. Norton, Mr F. Coles, the employees at Messrs. Goodearl Bros., Mendy-street, and the teachers at Desborough-road school.

        INTERESTING WEDDING. At the Wesleyan Church, Bozeat, Northants, on Monday [17th July]. a wedding of considerable interest to High Wycombe, took place, the Rev. T. Cottam uniting in holy matrimony Miss Annie Margaret Drage, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Drage, of Arch Villa, Bozeat, and Mr. Percy Ronald Goodearl. son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Goodearl, of "Elmecroft," Marlow. Miss Drage was for some time upon the teaching staff of the Desborough-road Schools, and a member of the Priory-road Wesley Guild, and the bridegroom is a member of Messrs. Goodearl Bros, a well known firm of chair manufacturers. The bride, who was given away by her father, was prettily attired in saxe blue silk. trimmed with lace. Mr. Albert Goodearl, brother of the bridegroom. acted as best man. Mrs. Drage, mother of the bride, wore a dress of black crepoline. After the reception at Arch Villa, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Goodearl left Bozeat for Llandudno, where the honeymoon is being spent. The bride's travelling dress was of navy blue serge, with a long biscuit coloured travelling cloak and black picture hat. A large number of handsome and useful presents have been received. The bride, it will be remembered, was the recipient of an eiderdown quilt from the Headmistress and colleagues at Desborough-road School, and a silver butter dish from her school class.
