        The funeral took place at South Molton on Thursday, the Vicar (Rev. H E NUTALL) officiating, of Mr Egbert Cecil DRAPER, of 78 East Street, South Molton. He was 85 and the husband of Mrs Ellen DRAPER (a daughter of the late Mr & Mrs James METTERS) a native of South Molton. Before going to South Molton a few years ago Mr DRAPER was in business at Lewknor, near oxford as a Baker. Mourners were the widow; Mr W DRAPER (Sherborne), brother; Mrs C CUFF (Barnstable), and Mrs J DAWSON (Appledore), sisters Mrs C CUFF, sister in law; Mr & Mrs J SANDERS, brother in law and sister in law; Mrs W LYDDON, sister in law; Mr T K METTERS (Credition), brother in law; Mr & Mrs S W LYDDON, nephew and niece; Mr J METTERS, cousin; Mesdames Jas. TAPP, SEWDEN and BAILEY. Messers J LYDDON, W Williams, T TALLIN, W GREENSLADE, Robt. BOWDEN and B ADAMS were the bearers. Among others present were Messrs S WOOD, H BRAYLEY, W SLOMAN, F KINGDON, C NOTT and W SKINNER.
