Holton [Suffolk]
THE LATE MRS. TUCKWELL. -The funeral of Mrs. Ethel Winifred Tuckwell, who died suddenly on the 8th inst., at the Ipswich County Hospital, took place at Holton St. Mary's, on Saturday. Mrs. Tuckwell, who was 35 years of age, was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Pattrick, of Gayton, and was well known and respected. She had resided at Holton St. Mary's with her husband for about eight years. She leaves two children. The funeral service was taken by the Rev. J. Howard (vicar of Holton St. Mary's). The immediate mourners were: the husband: Mr. W. Patrick, father; Mrs. A. E. Lewis (Hull), sister; Mrs. Wesley Rasberry. sister; Mr. and Mrs. A. Tuckwell (Chelmsford), Mr. and Mrs. C.Tuckwell (London). Mr. and Mrs. F. Tuckwell (Raydon), Mr. and Mrs. Crisp (Raydon), Mr. and Mrs. Randall (Higham). Mr. and Mrs. Cook (Raydon), Mr. and Mrs. Ward (Hadleigh), Mr. and Mrs. J. Hart (Raydon), brothers-in-law and sisters-in- law. Owing to illness, Mrs. W. Pattrick was unable to attend. Amongst the large number of floral tributes was an emblem from the Holton St. Mary's Mothers' Union, of which Mrs. Tuckwell had been a member. A number of members of the Mothers' Union were also present at the funeral.

GAYTON [Norfolk]
A WEDDING was solemnised in the parish church on 8th inst., between Ethel Winifred Patrick. youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs. W. Patrick. and Cecil Tuckwell, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Tuckwell, of Raydon, Suffolk. The bride. who was given away by her father, wore a tailor-made brown costume, with oriental hat trimmed with paradise plumes. She was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Doris Rasberry (niece) and Miss Violet Dungar, a friend, who were dressed in beige velvet, with hats to match, and carried ivory prayer books, the gifts of the bridegroom. The bride and bridesmaids carried white heather sprays. Mr. W. T. Patrick, brother of the bride, acted as
best man." The service was con ducted by the vicar, Rev. B. V. V. Edwards. The hymns, "Lead us. Heavenly Feather, lead us" and " The voice that breathed o'er Eden" were sung. As the couple left the church the vicar played appropriate music and the church bells were rung. A reception was held at the bride's home.
