GAYTON [Norfolk]
A WEDDING was solemnised in the parish church on 8th inst., between Ethel Winifred Patrick. youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs. W. Patrick. and Cecil Tuckwell, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Tuckwell, of Raydon, Suffolk. The bride. who was given away by her father, wore a tailor-made brown costume, with oriental hat trimmed with paradise plumes. She was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Doris Rasberry (niece) and Miss Violet Dungar, a friend, who were dressed in beige velvet, with hats to match, and carried ivory prayer books, the gifts of the bridegroom. The bride and bridesmaids carried white heather sprays. Mr. W. T. Patrick, brother of the bride, acted as
best man." The service was con ducted by the vicar, Rev. B. V. V. Edwards. The hymns, "Lead us. Heavenly Feather, lead us" and " The voice that breathed o'er Eden" were sung. As the couple left the church the vicar played appropriate music and the church bells were rung. A reception was held at the bride's home.
