        DEATH OF MRS. WIXON.-
        The death occurred on Monday week, at Wendover Dean, of Mrs. Emma Wixon, the wife of Mr. John Wixon, aged 57. Mrs. Wixon was the daughter of the late Mr. Moses Brown, of Cobblers Hill Farm, and was married to Mr. John Wixon at Wendover Church in 1903 by the late Rev. Albert Smith. In addition, to to the husband, the deceased lady leaves four sons and five daughters, one of whom is in New Zealand, to mourn their loss. Mr. Wixon has lived at the smithy at Wendover Dean since 1904, where he removed shortly after he was married. The funeral took place on Thursday week, the last rites being performed by the Rev. W. M. Masters.
        The service was choral, Mr. F. Slade presiding at the organ. The hymn "Thy Way, not mine O Lord" was sung, as well as a psalm. The mourners were: Mr. J. Wixon (husband), Messrs. J. C., T. F., and H. G. Wixon (sons), Misses V. N., M. J., Edith May, and Evelyn Margaret (daughters), Messrs. M. J., J., and M. Brown (brothers); Mrs. A. Stevens, Miss M. Brown, Mrs. R. Holland and Mrs. J. Wright (sisters); Mrs. J. C. Wixon (daughter- in-law); Mrs. M. J. Brown, Mrs. Boorer (sisters-in-law); Mr. A. Stevens (brother-in-law); Miss C. Stevens and Miss M. Holland (nieces); Miss Jordan, Mrs. Rogers, Mrs. J. Spittles and Miss Yerby. A large number of wreaths and floral tributes were received as a last token of affection and esteem.
