CHINNOR.
SUDDEN DEATH. - On Friday morning, an elderly man named John Green, who had long been living alone, appears to have died very suddenly. A neighbour's little boy, who had been in the habit of fetching a pail of water for him in the morning, went as usual, and finding no one in the house, but a candle burning on the table, stated the fact to his father, who immediately made search, and in an outhouse found the old gentleman, who was 79 years of age, dead. Mr. H. Dixon, of Watlington, was communicated with, and, on viewing the body, pronounced death to be due to heart disease and senile decay. It was not deemed necessary to hold an inquest.
