        Funeral of Mrs. S. A. Barber.
        The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Ann Barber aged 82, who for a long time lived in Miswell Lane, was on Wednesday week at the Aylesbury Road Cemetery, with the Rev. C. J. Welsford officiating. She was brought from Northchurch, where she had been living for some time with: her niece. She was the widow of the late Mr. W. Barber who was employed at the Gas Works. Her son, the late Mr. W. Barber won the V.C. in the last war. She was an attendant at the Western Hall.
