        Mrs. E. Stratford. The funeral of Mrs. Eliza Stratford, who lived all her life in Tring, took place at the Aylesbury Road Cemetery on Saturday. Aged 72, she died at her home, 67, Miswell Lane, after a short illness. A widower and daughter are left. Mrs. Stratford was a keen member of the Social Hour, a women's organisation sponsored by the High Street Free Church, which she attended. The church minister, the Rev. S. C. Hearn, broke his holiday at Brighton to officiate at the funeral.
