MAN HURT IN GLO'STER MISHAP
Rounding a bend in Tuffley Lane, Gloucester, on Sunday after- noon a motor cycle driven by Kenneth Wixon, of 53, Slimbridge Road, Lower Tuffley, was involved in an accident and finished up in the hedge at the side of the road.
Wixon escaped with minor in- juries-abrasions and cuts of the leg and head-but his father, Rupert Walter Wixon (49), riding pillion, was taken to the City General Hospital by ambulance, with injuries of a more extensive nature.
He is suffering from lacerations of the skull and suspected injuries of the left arm and leg, but was stated on Monday morning to be "fairly comfortable."
