WEDDINGS. The wedding took place at the Risborough Parish Church on Saturday [9th] of Mr Clarence Jesse Pearman, second son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Pearman, of Thame, and Miss Winnifred Doris Bass eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Bass, of Longwick Road, Princes Risborough. The Rector (Rev. J. Gower Williams) conducted the ceremony. The bride, given away by her father, wore blue satin, with veil and orange blossom, and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. She was attended by her younger sister, Miss Amy Bass, who wore blue georgette, and carried a bouquet of blue irises. Mr. W. Pearman (brother of the bridegroom) was best man. A reception was held at the bride's home. Mr. and Mrs. Pearman are making their home at Longwick. Mr. Albert Edward Avery, second son of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Avery, of Longwick Road, Princes Risborough, and Miss Kate Windsor, of Wycombe Marsh, were married at High Wycombe on Saturday. The bride was given away by her brother-in-law (Mr. T. Anderson). and was attired in pale blue. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations. Mr. J. Avery (the bridegroom's brother) was best man, and a reception was held at the house of Mrs. Anderson, where the bride has been residing.
