        CHINNOR. ALARM OF FIRE. - Early on Tuesday morning last, a fire was discovered in the cellar under the shop of Mr. James Croxford, grocer; as soon as it was observed, a messenger was despatched to Thame for the fire engine, but fortunately, it was extinguished before its arrival, It is supposed to be the act of an incendiary. A reward of £10 has been offered by Mr, Croxford, and a further reward of £10 by Mr. Ponting, on behalf of the County Insurance Office, which will be paid for information that will lead to the apprehension and conviction of the offender or offenders.
