        Berkshire Chronicle. 20 August 1864 - extract:-
        Petty Sessions - August 13th, 1854 (present the Earl of Macclesfield, H Hamersley, E R Keen and F E S Viret, Esqrs.) - Charles Judge and James Tuckwell, of Ewelme, aged 10 and 11 years, were charged with stealing 2 towles value 2s., the property of Mr J Franklin, on the 9th August. Dismissed on payment of costs 3s 3d. Mr Franklin not wishing to press the charge.
