        LESTER - On the 9th inst. at Thame, the wife of Mr Walter LESTER, of a son.

        Bucks Herald 18 June 1892Alleged Assault - Frederick LESTER, hay tyer, of Thame, was summoned by Harriet BOWLER, wife of Charles BOWLER, residing in Park Street, Thame, for assaulting her on the 7th May. - Complainant gave evidence, and defendant, in defence, made a long statement which revealed the fact that the case arose out of a general family feud. - George BOWLER, son of the planitiff, was also called. - The bench dismissed the case on the payment by defendand of 2s 6d, the cost of the summons.

        Frederick LESTER, hay tier, of Thame, was summoned for assulting and beating Elizabeth WALLER, at Chinnor, on 19th March. - Mr H BIRCH prosecuted and defendant pleaded not guilty - After a lengthy hearing defendant was fined 10s and cost 12s and allowed time for payment.

        School Case - Frederick LESTER, hay tier, Thame, was summoned for neglecting to send his son to school. - Mr W BETTS, school attendance officer, proved the case, and as there were several previous charges of a similar kind, defendant was ordered to pay a fine of £1, including costs.
