        Bicester Herald 09 November 1906
        Riding without a light
        Thomas Moores PRIEST, clerk, Middleton Stoney, was summoned for riding a bicycle without lights at Upper Heyford on Oct 15.
        He pleaded guilty.
        PC John LESTER, stationed at Steeple Aston, deposed that at 10:25, on the night in question he saw the defendant riding a bicycle, and havingmno light attached. He stopped him, and found there was no lamp on the bicycle.
        Defendant expressed his sorrow at the offence.
        He was fined 6d and 4s 6d reduced costs.
